Do existing firewire models work?

Getting my HVX today!! But do the existing firestore models work for direct to hard drive recording? I went to the focus site and their spec sheet only lists the camera compatible with the yet to be released 100. Does anyone have experience with their own hvx and a firestore?
 
I am sure that the old firestore drives would work.. but only in DV mode. We are all waiting for the HD version to come out.
 
From what I understand the current models (FS-4) and the like do not work with the HVX. There is a model due out soon (about $2,000) that is supposed to work with the HVX.

BTW- I have an FS4 and have been using it with my DVX. It is a great product, but don't expect ANY tech support, or intelegent responses from focus. I had some issues getting the drive to record in 24pa correctly and they were not able to help me- I had to get help from an online forum. Just something you should know before buying their products.
 
Hello all. My name is David O'Kelly and I am with Focus enhancements, the company that makes the FireStore line of products.
The current line of FireStores will only work with the HVX 200 in DV mode. Although the FS-100 looks like the FS-4 family, internally it had to be beefed up to accomadate the the higher bit rate of DVCPROHD and DVCPRO50.
Please feel free to post any other questions about FireStore for the HVX 200
