DMN Transfer

I have read an article on DVX about the DMN Transfer plug-in for Avid (supposedly it's a really useful and FREE effects tool). So I downloaded it. But I can't for the life of me figure out what it does. What effects does this plug-in allow one to achieve? And apparently I haven't figured out how to use it (I apply it to the second video track and don't really see anything change).

Well, have the same videoclip on v1 and v2 and apply the DMN transfer effect to the video on v2. You will see the effect, but you can choose another setting if you go in effect mode.

This effect can be real usefull if you combine it with the blur effect, also free:
On v1 and v2 the same videoclip, add blur to v1, and add DMN transfer effect
to v2, make your choice in effect editor, and look what is does, you can make soft romantic christmas look with it, it's christmas all the time! Have fun.
