DMC-GH2 is it 60FPS or 24? @ Full hd

God I hate the term "Full HD". It is like Honda selling a naturally aspirated 1.6 liter V8 and calling it "full power" just because it has 8 cylinders. "Full HD" tells me exactly nothing about the actual resolvable resolution in the video which is all I really care about.

hey, long time ago you even didnt had pixelcount in camera specs ,today people are more informed about this, long time ago companies prefered to not give actual pixelcount on their camcorders.
Now we have pixelrace with 8megapixel cellphones.

i'm not trying to start a debate about cars in a photo forum, even though it is a low spec but it's faster and powerful than what the American are used to to what is a "V8". Those Japanese 4 cylinders are like a v6.

I would prefer all of the companies to just tell it like it is. If the thing has 350 horse power from 8 cylinders or if it records 1080i from an 18 megapixel sensor then just tell me that. Don't think up a cutesy name("V8", "Full-HD") that disguises its downfalls. I just want them to give me the facts and I can determine what is best for me.

in dpreview.com i saw that it record fullhd @ 60fps
is it right?
or only 24?

Fwiw, I do see that you have Canon in your name -
If you are coming from a t2i/etc., then it may be of use to you to know that the 60p of the gh2 is equivalent in resolved detail to the canon's 1080p... or the canon's 'full hd', but without the artifacts of the canon:
