Me and a few friends went hiking at Turkey Run State Park yesterday and I brought my camera along. I fell in love with the DVX again when I got home and watched the footage on my TV. The downrez'd clip doesn't do it justice but I figured you guys might want to take a look at it anyway. It's 18mb, so right click and save as please :).

Tell me what you guys think :) Thanks guys

PS, I know the compression is a bit messed up, I forgot to press the whites down before I compressed it. My bad :)
 
Good depth of field in some shots, thats one thing I am always trying with this cam. The cloud shots looked real good as well.
 
How can it be an "Ode to Disjecta" when there are NO DUCKS!!?!?!?! :huh:

LOL yeah, I didn't want to get rid of the LOTR thing, although it completely kills the mood. :-p I may take it out... but then I'd be sad :(

The park is called Turkey Run, and I couldn't even find any turkeys, how in the poopoo am I supposed to find ducks? lol

When I was out shooting, I was looking at the screen on my camera and I was saying to myself "Oh God, I suck at exposing, this is going to be so blown out", but when I took it home, most of the shots weren't that bad and my confidence in the cameras abilities were reaffirmed. :)

I really appreciate you guys looking at this for me. I know it's nothing special but this is pretty much the first edit I've done in quite a few months.

I guess editing's like riding a bike though, you don't ever forget it. :)
