Hi everyone!
I am wondering, as weight wise it's all ok, but how about dimensions?
Looking at this video, on standard Ronin there's actually plenty of space in the back. I am wondering if FS7 will fit and work on M version.
Kind of silly me - I was looking at Ronin on this video and didn't noticed title and description ("extended arms"). I am wondering if similar extended arms will be available for Ronin M as well.
The arms in the M houses the wires and motor. It's all held inside plastic casing, so maybe it doable but someone will have to experiment this themselves.

the FS7 barely balances with a regular Ronin (with pancake/light lenses, a little easier, but still barely) so I wouldn't buy the M if you plan on mounting the FS7 or any heavier cameras on it.
I had this same question. The Shane Hurlbut forum stated to fly the FS700 you need the 50mm extension arms and the FS7 requires 80mm extension arms. Youtube videos of the installation appear complicated and difficult. I've not flown the FS7 on any gimbal stabilizer, just repeating what I've heard.
Hello,
Yes, it will work if you are ready for some compromise.
Few selected lens only (but as the 10-18 F4 works) I do 100% of the gimbal work with it
And you will need to remove the handle on the FS7 and use large batteries to counter balance.
But despite, this, It's a great success for me as the Ronin is already too large in my bag.
> are you asking because you own a Ronin M? Then just give it a try
> If you want to buy a gimbal I would go for a used Ronin1 It is not so expensive and it gives you all opportunities in lenses and accessories. The difference in weight is 1.9 kg which is quite a lot but if you add a FS7 with lens, battery and maybe a small monitor you compare about overall 5+kg to 7kg. 7kg is too heavy without a support but with 5kg I get exhausted quite fast too.
