DJI Ronin lenses?

Hi!

What lenses do you guys use for stabilisers like DJI Ronin.

Thinking of going either Sigma 18-35 f1,8 with LA EA4 adapter (Phase detection) or the new Tamron 15-30 f2,8 with same adapter.

Yes i know its "locked" to f3,5 with autofocus but interesting if someone have other suggestions.

Focus puller is not an option either.

Spin away!

I am happy with SEL lenses. 10-18, 35, 50. light sharp inexpensive. No XL arms or additional weight needed. AF and even face detection working pretty well. I am sure you will need XL arms or weight with the sigma.

I have been using primes exclusively with the ronin so far.

The cheapo Sony SEL 20mm f2.8 with AF, which is pancake style and very, very light (which means no XL arms) has been actually working pretty well. It's not the sharpest lens, but AF works pretty well if you stick to some basic "center framing".
Here is a quick test of this lens with the ronin, the first day I got it (never mind the music)

The also very cheap Sony 35mm f1.8 OSS (mentioned above by Clermond), which is a bit larger, has been doing pretty good for me as well.

I'd love to try the Sony Sonnar 24mm f1.8, although it's significantly more pricey.

I have the Sony Sonnar 24 f1,8, I like the quality but i'm not a big fan of the autofocus.

Mainly I use the Sony 16-70 f4,0. I know it uses the same kind of autofocus but in my experience it's far better for some reason than den 24mm.

But I still not satisfied that's why I thinking of going with LA EA4-adapter for the phase detection instead.

I've been using the a7s with my ronin almost exclusively, and the lens I have on there 90% of the time is the SEL 10-18... super sharp, don't need DOF on ronin shots, additional OSS (cuz why not) and keeps it light.
