DJ Hero!

I normally hate rhythm games, ala guitar hero and everything associated with it, but I'm HOOKED on DJ Hero. I can't stop playing the damn thing.

The music is great. I can't think of any other place to hear Motorhead mixed with Jay-Z, I packed up my turn tables and mixer many years ago so fake dj'ing is great for me. My wife keeps trying to get me back into spinning and now I just might buy a set up.

It does not seem to be selling well but I love it. And it's Hard as Hell.

I saw someone trying to play it, and I realized right them it wasn't for me. Because it looked like a bad game? No, because I can't even get the bass pedal on the drums timing in Rock Band. It's like my mind shuts down. This would put me into a coma. There's no way I could grasp it.

I do enjoy the soundtrack, though.

LOL. I know the turntables pretty well and I had to go through the training twice to get it down and I still suck at it. Some of the button, scratching, cross fader actions are so insane I got motion sickness from watching the commands come down the pipeline. But At least I got to hear Ice Ice Baby mixed with Can't touch this.

The whole concept of the turntable as an instrument just won't resonate as well as a guitar or drums with the general public. Most people I would think have no Idea how a cross fader is used to manipulate to records.
