DIY Zipline Cam

No prob dude, has anyone ever used a cable-cam for filming snowsports? a line down the pipe, or through the park, could create some sweet shots. Let me know if ya have any ?'s

There becoming more and more popular, theres some KILLER cablecam shots in Matchstick Productions new film Attack Of La Nina.
Heres the trailer.

I've never thought much of it for my self, I more want to get mine dialed in for shooting mountain biking and nature videos. Get a little of that Planet Earth feel going on you know.
Cant wait to see how the 7D version turns out!

Too funny, I took me, watching that trailer 3 times before I could focus and pay enough attention to see the cable cam shots. I just kept getting sucked into the world of pre-season pow lusting!

We will be at a Mt.Bike Dirt Jump, and Best Trick Competition this weekend. We will be posting content next week, from that event. The pan/tilt is actually our competitors unit.
It was an educational experience to assemble the competitions offering. Definately not up to our personal standards, but it is a pretty neat unit.

SIMPLY AWESOME....... do you have this for sale? I was going to rig something myself as I used to do RC aerials so I have the full 360 mount with downlink... but this just looks so cool.

We only have a "band-aid" website up currently; with a contact e-mail. The full site should be up in a week or so. Yes, we are selling these. We will have 10 systems ready for purchase in 3-4 weeks. The pan/tilt unit pictured, is not our own design. We will be launching our own pan/tilt unit by early summer.
Here are some quick clips from Best Trick warm up. Video is from a GoProHD2. Still working on the canon footy.
