I've upgraded to an igus slider because I use slider shots a lot more than I used to.
It's made from Alum tubing, PVC board, skate bearings. Bottom is tapped for 3/8, and the sled is drilled for a 3/8 bolt.
I built this slider to get started and it works fine. Like all DIY stuff, it has it's quirks, but will make good slides for those looking to try it out.
Asking $50obo + $10 shipping (in the USA)
