DIY Parts

Hey guys,
I'm working on a DIY like you guys have built, and I was wondering... where do you get those super solid black boxes you've built them into?

thanks.

You can pretty much make it out of anything. Cut plywood, plastic box, UPVC plumber pipes and etc. That is if you are talking about making a mini35. Or you want professionally done, CNC machined aluminium parts. Good luck.

Dave, PM me. I've got some of those boxes, motors, parts etc to help you out. I did up a few CAD drawings too.

I'm speaking specifically of the M35 adapters you guys are making.

Can someone list all the parts. I know I need a motor, and the spinning or vibrating GG... but where do you get the tube that holds the lens to the front of the box? Or at least, what is that tube called. Where do you get lens mounts, and how do you attach them to the tube? Where is a good place to buy the "project box" from?

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

I don't know where most people here get their parts usually when anything along the lines of a project box is mentioned you might want to try radioshack, or homedepot/lowes etc.. The more professional ones are all customed machined which involves a lathe, someone skilled or more importantly money...

Shouldn't the M2 DIY kit tell you where to get the parts? Its pointless having a DIY kit but you are not sure where to get the parts necessary for the adaptor.
