distortion of horizontal lines with dvx

hi there,
i recently shot a short film with a dvx100, i shot it in 24 pa. Now that its in editing process we found out that on some certain pieces of the material, something really odd happens with horizontal lines, they seem to distort and move like a moire effect (even though theres no reason for a moire to appear). We have already checked the capture and editing settings and that doesnt seem to be the problem. The detail level on the scene file was at -4 so i dont think thats the issue. Im kind of lost since i've been using this camera for a while on several short films and commercial work and this is the first time something like this happens. Anyone know a way to solve this? thanks

You're probably seeing interlace artifacts because you're editing on a 60i (or 29.97 or 29.98, all the same thing) timeline.

This is a question which has been asked many times. Do a search -- you'll find many threads on it.

What was your V.Detail and Line setting (Thick, Thin?)? What NLE are you using, perhaps the preview isn't very accurate (Premiere would fall into this category).

im using Final cut pro, i already tried capturin with 2 3 3 2 advanced pulldown removal and editing on a 23.97 and 24 fps timeline, v detail setting was on thick mode. And detail level was on -4, Any ideas on what else could i do to solve this problem?
I`ll try posting some stills of the material. Thanks!!!
