Hello, I'm in a really big pinch right now. I own Two DVX 100B cameras and a JVC br-dv 3000 deck. I only use panasonic AY-DVM60EJ tapes. I just reviewed some footage I shot the otherday while playing the tape in my JVC there were two vertical bands of digital distortion. (blocky parts) and the sound was distorting a bit to. I tried the other cameras footage in the deck and had no problem.
After some messing around I found camera one tape played in camera one but not the deck or camera 2. camera 2's tape playted in camera two and the deck but not camera 1. I left for two hours and now camera one does plays only with distortion in all three devices. I though it might be the tape but this is happening on multiple tapes. What is happening here? are there any quick fix solutions? I need to use the cameras tomorrow. I tried using a cleaning tape to clean the heads. It appears as if that did not fix the problem though.

Ok, I just used camera 1 to do some more testing and now the footage that recorded earlier on camera 1 still distorts but the new footage on the same tape is fine. No settings have been changed. This does not make any sense to me. can anyone help me??
thanks for your help.
