Dissonance - a j.r. hudson reel

Whoa ... just read that Barry Green is onboard here ... no wonder he hasn't been hassling me about the outline for Project Barry Greenlight :cheesy: (which I am working on right this minute Barry, now that I have Macgregor and his crew out of my hair)

Seriously that's awesome; can't wait to see what you and the Green Machine do, John.

Hi John, just chiming in to wish you good luck, etc. The Dissonance poster is extremely creative, I like it's texture. The typeface is exellent as well - and the poster somehow keeps reminding me of the Zion Narrows, not literally, just in shape and form, I guess "evokes" is a better way to put it. The lighting in the hospital bed scene looks promising, and the title logo sits really nicely on the pics, right on. My mac chokes on the WMV files, but I did search out the zombie flick on Triggerstreet and after reading about how you did that, I can't wait to see what you do when you have more than a single morning to shoot in!

Thanks for the support everyone !

and thansk ignatius ! I'm plowing ahead. Just confirmed my composer (in Italy) is ready to role ....

Nice thread John. Glad to hear things are moving along and I am looking forward to seeing your film! Now, should I rate this thread? Lol... just kiddin. Little inside joke, all.

I'm just the below-the-line crew here on this one. John is the visionary, the writer, the director, the editor. My job is just to try to give John the shots that he has in his head, and on his storyboards. So I don't want anyone thinking that it's any big contribution on my part, I'm just trying to help the Hud get what he's looking for!

This way; if it sucks hard; I get all the blame . :nads:

I'm sure John's neck-deep in editing. We just finished shooting on Saturday night, which was a wacky day -- we musta done 15 setups in the last hour, racing the sun, including doing a long tracking dolly shot! I wouldn't expect Hudson to emerge from the editing room until midnight on the 31st when he clicks "upload"...
