Display HD from Mac to Plasma

I have a PowerMac G4 500Mhz and wish to use it to present HD content on a Plasma HD Ready TV. The G4 has 1GB RAM, and the original ADC/VGA Video card. What is the best way to use the original card to send the HD to the Plasma or what type of video card should I purchase to best do this? I understand I can only view 480p content due to its slow processor but its better than nothing. Any help would be appreciated :)

I dunno I have seen computers play HD footage that cant handle it and its choppy I dont think it would run.

I actually do it with my PowerBook to a regular TV and its not choppy. The computer can't play higher format HD but the 480p plays no problem.

Well I have HD content from Apples site in 480p and wish to display it from my Mac to the HDTV. I dont have camera footage its just HD stuff I find on the net.

I do not have an HD monitor/TV- but from the adds I've seen some say that they have DVI input. So I would assume that you would just take the monitor out from the computer and go into the HDTV. That would be my thoughts. (Coming from someone who has not done that.)

I wonder what the difference of 30" Apple LCD Cinema display is to all the others (other then rez). The price is so much more for the Mac it's ridiculous. Could it be the colors?

It is 'cuz they can. I'm not aware of another sreen at that size that produces images that well. From the little I do know about the monitor it is the same desing as the smaller apples, just on a bigger scale. When the first 20" LCD came out is was going for $2999 - so it is all relative.
