DisMental Order - short

This is a short I originally did for a college film festival, but was notified the last week. I committed to completing it anyways. Each scene is a metaphor for the realities of a person living in urban areas or blames their surroundings for their own growth.

Steve is a schizo who believes everyone else is dirty and not as smart as he. As he progresses, he argues with himself with the help of a shrink. 3rd scene is a metaphor for his thoughts for school being the training grounds of society and 'we,' ourselves hurt our own hands to do for ourselves. The last scene is that, companies don't know what/who they hire. Everyone has a past and closets full of mysteries.

Societies disorder is some peoples sanity. So who has a mental disorder?

Please, any and all crits welcomed.

Thanks,

Shawn

Hi! I've watched it and I have a few comments:

First of all, I've absolutely loved it. It's an awesome character work. It reminds me of Diogenes, the psycho we're protraying on the short film we're working on. The acting was really good, kudos to your lead actor.

The camerawork was interesting but sometimes too wild for the mood. I think that the only flaw of this work was the photography. It's not bad, but it's rather amateurish compared to the maturity of the script and the good work of the actors.

Congratulations. I've loved it. Keep showing your work! Oh, and don't forget to comment my short film, here: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=176472
