Here's a little short I was working on as the cinematographer. I had some exposure issues because of the infamous gamma problem we mac users often have to deal with. I was using the EOS utility to monitor the 7D, and during the lunch break I found out that what I see in the eos utility is brighter than what the camera records. I adjusted for it after the break. The result is that the reverse shot of the guests is properly exposed whereas the other shot is slightly underexposed.

It's not graded yet, and in my opinion the split screen shot feels out of place.
I would appreciate your feedback.... I can take criticism, so don't hold back :)

well besides the lighting problem ,to hot on the guest couple. , the 2 shot back and forth gets old . i would have mixed in a quick close up or 2 to break it up .walking sound is a bit much at the end . the music is from a old x-girl friend of mine. at the end i would not have started at the beginning of the song but just brought it up as it ended.

I totally agree about the editing. We actually shot some close-ups of the actors but the editor decided not to use them. It's funny that you mention the guest couple being lit too hot... the guest couple looks pretty much spot on on my monitor but the hosts look underexposed.... I would be interested how others see this...

Agreed, I think the host couple looks underexposed, at least on my monitor here. Sound levels kind of all over the map and harsh at times.
