dirty images

Hey,
I wanted to know if anyone knows how to make a 'clean' image appear 'dirty', like you see in all of the new breed of horror movies? The image below is a grab from the credit sequence that I wish to give that 'look'. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Right now I don't have any images uploaded. I meant the opening credits of some of todays horror films, the look of saw, texas chainsaw etc...A 'grime' feel to them...
