dirty heads

Hi all, forgive if this has been tackled before. A TAPE i used a few days ago has black lines running across it when i play back and it doesnt play as smooth as it should be it sort of freezes a bit and plays sort of slow mo. i cleaned my heads with a panasonic head cleaner and all the other tapes play back fine. could it be that my heads where dirty when i shot and is there a way i can clean up the tape and still use the footage coz i really need it?

any suggestions will be welcome.

Have you tried playing back that tape in another DV deck or camera?
