Dirt on UV filter

Has anyone noticed that all dirt sticks to UV filters way more than the actual lens? I've tried lens cloths, lens pens, compressed air and lens cleaning fluid, and it drives me nuts.

Thanks,

ahhh the fun part of upkeep. I just have gotten used to that very situation. Sometimes its nice to have a variety of options. If you get a fisheye, you'll see how much more of a PITA that will be. I had to spend about 10 minutes each and every time I used mine, and sometimes a few times during the day due to the focusing so close to the adapter.. I'd see anything.

I have found that the better filters are easier to clean and the metal rings hold up to more handling for sure and won't show as many flares and such. I really like the B and W filters
