Dipping my toes in the water

I've been shooting still photography for a while and decided that I'd like to try moving images, so Ive been hanging around on here for a while to see what its like, learn a little (a lot it turns out), and you all seem like a very nice group of people.

So I've decided to torture you with my first tiny attempts at making some shorts. These are mostly to try to figure out what I'm doing so please dont be too harsh

Hiding Michael: Nothing exciting here. Just trying out the steps from getting shots from camera to After Effects.

Contaband: Shot with a 9 year old DV cam with on camera mic. Imported to AE for editing. The sound was my biggest disappointment.

Zombie Walk: This was shot with a still camera in movie mode then put together in PremierPro. Added some foley sounds to the on camera mic sound.

My plans are to get a better camera and sound so Santa has ordered me an HMC151 and a mic. Hopefully my next foray will be much better.
