Dinner - Port 53 Films

I really enjoyed this one, nice work. The actors were a blast to watch. The whole thing struck me with its originality. I think the pacing could be a bit tighter - some awkward pauses and unnecessary lines could be trimmed. But overall I thoroughly enjoyed it!

And that dude looks so much like Thomas Hayden Church it's crazy.

Hey
I liked it. The man zombie in it was hilarious to watch because of his eyes and blank stare. I wanted to see more of him goofing off. The blonde guy was funny and nailed the stereotypical obnoxious guy that you see on tv or commercials. This was good stuff.. I thought there would have been some good gay jokes when those two guys showed up.

I liked this one as well. I agree with curugon with the pacing. I felt it could be a little tighter in some points. The actors were pretty good, and there were only a few parts that seemed to made be a little overly done, but I think some of it you may have done intentionally. Overall very nicely done.

Thomas Hayden Church, Hehe. Ya I think he actually heard that one a few times, or Gary Busey he gets all the time. He's actually in "A History of Violence" that's in theatres now.

Glad you enjoyed "Dinner". It's my first short on here and I'm eager to hear all the remarkes about it.

Yeah I thought the acting was good. I liked the twist at the end when the zombie talks normal.

This short had kind of a reverse zombie element to me. Like the rich people were too zoned out ("zombied") that they couldn't pay attention to what was in front of them.

Than again I might be over analyzing it.

Great job though. I enjoyed it.

The obnoxious guy was hilarious. I could watch an entire short of him alone. I also enjoyed the dynamic between the angry couple, and the guy's swordfighting line was pretty funny.

I would have liked to see more inserts of little things like the kid stalking the cat, cut back to him grabbing the cat, etc. but I know 5 minutes makes it tough to fit it all in without too many rapid cuts.

Nicely done. I wanted to make a comedy, but my script had to be ditched due to lack of time and flaky actors.

Here were my notes I made when I watched it: GREAT camera/production value, lighting, etc. Acting is good for it's corny nature, and I LOVED the obnoxious guy. Fun flick. Music fit the piece well. I'll actually have to watch this one a couple times to pick it apart before voting, because right now it's among my initial favorites, and I've watched all but 5. If/when I come up with any critiques, I'll list them here.

The ZombieFest comedies are running a surprisingly tight race. This one, however, may have it by a nose in my book.

Damned fine job.

Thanks alot for that! I appreciate all the kind words and criticisms from all my fellow film-makers. This has already been a great festival and I've enjoyed alot of the films.

Good job. Nice acting. Makeup was good on all except for the kid. Gary Busey look-alike did a great job.
