Dimmer for single 650W Britek

I've got a Britek 650W Halo Flood light that I picked up a couple years ago, and wanted to put a dimmer on it. I looked at some dimmers on amazon, but it looks like they have a max of 300W. Anyone know where to get good cheap, single dimmers that can handle the larger 650 wattage?

Harbor Freight Router control. handles 1500w (I've used it with a 1k without buzzing or other issues.

I got one of these the other day. Now when I dim it down to the lowest setting the light only drops down a bit, like 20 % less than full, its not dimming to off. Is this what every one else is getting or do yours dim down to off?

Oh and this is on a 800W Redhead
