so i was skating and fell and broke the little blue piece above the battery that you use to push to put the batt in. it still works fine but when i accudentially hit the battery up more than a very tiny bit, the cam goes off because theres nothing there to stop it from disconnecting anymore. basically a little piece. im considering either getting it repaired (and im asking u guys if u know how much it would cost) or taking it back to costco where i got it and *attempting to return it due to manufacturers defect, a dead pixel in the LCD that actually does exist. i know they changed their policy, but when i bought the cam they still had that deal going on. and it is a manufacturers defect. so what should i do? also dvx's are 1000$ cheaper now so id make some money when i re-buy one. should i just try to take it back? i think i might threaten to sue if they say no, the warranty was changed after the fact that i bought it and the dead pixel was not my fault. what's your 2 cents?
