When I digitize my 24pA project in Avid Xpress Pro, I am using the 23.976 settings. Also, should I be using the "Advanced, 2:3:3:2 pulldown in the Film and 24P Setting menu? And what about the other settings? Does it matter if i use the DSR-11 deck? What about the delay in audio? IS that set to 1?

Ink Number Format and etc., what do I set these to?

Also, if I am using Boris Red, or Avid FX I import all the projects as 23.976?

Thanks

If shooting ADVANCED you want to set it to ADVANCED.
The audio delay should be set to 2 for the older version of the DVX100 as well as HD downconverts from HDW-F500. The newer cameras can be set to 0 or 1, you need to make a test.

You have no need to ink number formats as that is used for feature film formats and workprint.

SO I guess the ink format settings will be ignored when digitizing a 24pA project?

Yes, they are useless for video only productions. They are meant to define the counting format for the Ink Number columns.
