does anyone know how much resolution is lost with digital squeeze?

seems like I read it somewhere but I cannot find it

I've shot resolution charts with both.

Squeeze Mode delivers about 350 lines of resolution.

The anamorphic adapter, when properly used, can deliver the full 480 lines of resolution possible. So the anamorphic is capable of giving you around 35% more. When the anamorphic is not properly used, it can actually deliver resolution no better than squeeze, or even worse.

thanks...in a bit of a dilema as I want to shoot some additional footage in 24p with digital squeeze, however, I have to mix with a consumer camera

the consumer camera will lose quality going to 24p and it if I tack on 16:9 I think the standard shots will lose too much vertical res

I may have to end up shooting the new shots in 4:3...oh well
