I've decided to give up filmmaking and am therefore parting with most of my kit.
Amongst the items I'm looking to sell is my Digislider - a slider that can be powered by motor or (if you remove the motor) by hand crank.
My Digislider is the 0.75 metre model, which offers a good compromise between usable length and portability. It is in very good condition, is equipped with the fast motor and comes with a motor controller. The motor takes its power either directly from the controller using a PP3 battery or from 8 AA batteries contained in a special battery holder. Batteries are not supplied as part of the sale but the AA battery holder is.
I won't go into too much detail - Digislider's website and Facebook page contain plenty of informatio, but it's worth pointing out that Digislider also offer a slow motor for timelapse work. The slow and fast motors can easily and quickly be swapped over.
I'm pretty rubbish at operating a manual slider, especially when trying to perform a very slow, smooth slide, so I found the Digislider to be a very useful tool indeed. I'll be happy to share photos and send links to shots I've taken with the Digislider on request (by PM please).
The current price of a Digislider in the same spec. as mine is £441.00 + postage. I'm asking £300 + postage for mine. I'm paypal verified.
