Hey everyone,
Can anyone shed any light as to what is causing the vertical bars across the wall outside of the bedroom in these two shots? I was testing out a steady cam with my GH2 (24p, Flowmotion hack) when I noticed weird bars all along the wall. I've had problems with the vertical bar using high ISO (actually, mine shows it as low as 400 iso) in under -exposed areas....so I tried the work around of changing the shutter speed to 30. Still shows the vertical bars along the top of the wall. The first photo has the shutter speed set to 30...the second one it's set to 50. I'm getting very frustrated with my Gh2. Everytime I think I've come to grip with it's problems...a new one pops up. I have an idea of something we should request in the GH3!! NO $*@*ing vertical bands all across the image. (end of rant) Anyone have any idea what might be causing this vertical bars?
BTW...these are screen grabs from two videos, not still photos.
