different lenses ?

Guys, will the 200 take different lenses to get some nice wide open shallow dof ?

If not, then what camera will do 1080p with interchangeable DSLR lenses from say canon or nikon ?

You can add wide-angle or teleconverters, but those won't give you that shallow DOF you're looking for. If you want to add that to an HVX200, you'd need a 35mm lens adapter such as a Letus, Brevis, SG Pro, Redrock M3, or something like that.

If you want an HVX-like 1080p camera with interchangeable lenses and shallow DOF, the AF100 is pretty much exactly that.

thats a LOT of good gear for the money. if you do your research on the seller and everything checks out - i say go for it!

only drawback is the 200 is the original hvx. youd likely be happier with a 200a or hpx170. they are both better at low light. which will come into play with a 35mm adapter setup.

but all that aside. people have been shooting SUPERB STUFF with that rig!
