Different DVX100 Models Working Together?

I need to buy 2 cameras for church video work. We do clips, shorts and record services. I would like them to be able to work together and separately.

I am considering a few options:

Option 1. 2 brand new DVX100B's. EVSonline will give us a pretty sweet deal on 2 units, and now that the rebate is back on it's even better.

Option 2. 1 Brand new DVX100B and a used DVX100 or DVX100A. There are several of the 2 previous models available on this forum and other places. We would save a good bit.

Option 3. 2 Used. Maybe 1 DVX100 and 1 DVX100A. We would save even more.

I have 2 questions for the experienced folks here.

1. Will all of these models "make nice" together? I am concerned about Timecode sync and differences in color between the different models.

2. Is there any appreciable difference between the 3 models I am looking at? I can read specs and I have. But there are people here who have these in their hands and KNOW firsthand what the real-world impact of using these together would be. I'm hoping some of you folks will chime in.

Thanks in advance for your opinions and advice. I am trying to be as fiscally responsible as I can, whilst balancing practicality and good sense.
