Differences in polarizers?

What would be a good polarizer to use when shooting with the HVX? I want to shoot this weekend and pick one up. Of course B&H is closed all week.

What would be a good one to get? What are the differences between the different polarizers? I see a variety of them at different prices online.

Thanks!

If you have a mattebox that holds 4X4 filters I really like the Circular Tiffen. Use it often with a ND6 outdoors and it looks great! 82mm screw on filters are a little hard to fin d but can be done and Tiffen and Century Optics both make them. Both are great. A circular give you options but does cost more.

one filter: schnieder true pol.

If you put any other filter on a white piece of paper and it will have green tint- this detracts from your camera's ability to correctly captrure color. The true pol is black and does not add a green/brown cast to your images.

In 11 years of shooting I have never seen this. This is a gross generalization and is not true. However, both the TruPol and UltraPols are excellent choices.

I prefer linear pols myself, as they are more effective in most situations.
