Ok, I'm sure this is a newbie question but unfortunately I haven't been able to find the answer. Can someone tell me if there is a difference between the hpx170p and hpx170 models? I'm looking to buy my first camera and want to make sure that I won't have issues with the lower priced hpx170p if I decide to buy it. Thanks in advance!

Pretty much all the models (HVX, HMC etc) in NA have a P after the number. Sometimes a P followed by a couple other letters if there is a promotion going on (like edius neo etc).
