Hello

I will import brandnew HPX 370 from the US Store BHPhotoVideo. With the rabat theres only cost 7'200 dollar. Thats very ideal since i have not too much money ;)

I know theres some differences between the HPX 300 (NTSC) and 301 (PAL). But since the HPX 37x series are Worldcams (isn't it?), theres absolutly no differences except the manual-language?

I dont understand why the HPX 371 costs here in switzerland 13'624 bucks! Is this massiv surchage only for the local support?

And here in Russia the HPX374 costs about 12,500 bucks, about the same as when it was first released. Why? Heck if I know! Apparently the rest of the world didn't grasp the concept that things are supposed to get cheaper over the course of their life.

Oh yeah, and then there's the import tax in European countries on camcorders and other devices that can record over 30 minutes of footage, which Canon claims can add 30% to the list price.

Otherwise, yeah, all 370/371/374 cameras are identical functionally, as are most new Panasonic cameras, so it seems they are switching to all-world cams now.
