I'm just about to order an HMC150, and I've downloaded a few raw files off this forum to get an idea of how the native files will run on my machine.
I'm using premiere cs 4.2.1, with a q6600 2.4ghz w/ 8gigs of ram in windows 7 x64
the 25p clip plays fine, I can scrub thru rather easily. The 30p clip, on the other hand, chugs a little bit, and scrubbing is damn near impossible.
I have appropriate sequences for each clip, and premiere doesn't show the red render bar above.
Does that amount of performance difference make sense for effectively 5fps?
I also checked the data rate, both clips were 2.5mbs.
