FS7: Difference between 'good and fantastic' lens

How does recommending the Sony Cine primes jibe with your following criteria?: "I only want to invest in lenses that are very likely to hold their value."
One of the biggest knocks on the Sony Cine primes is that they get no love or respect for their quality and won't hold much resale value.

I disagree 100%. Buy a set at today's price and I'll bet you can get 90% of that back out of them 5 or 10 years from now -- unless everything goes FF, and in that case, a lot of us will be screwed no matter which lenses we have. Time will tell. Don't buy 'em if you don't want 'em. But I'd gladly buy a set today if I didn't already have my Cine-Xenars and Zeiss 15.5-45.
