Ok I'm using pinnacle liquid v6 and I keep hearing people say that liquid doesn't support 24p but I see 24fps as an option for my timeline can someon please explain the difference before I purchase my dvx next week?.... thanks

..it probably just doens support pulling down the true 24p from a 60i file. people say previous version of Premire before Premiere Pro dont support 24p either bu they do.. almost all editors supprt editing on a 24p timeline. but they dont all support extraction of the true 24p file from the 60i stream that the DVX outputs.. if thats the case you just need to use a different program to perform the 24p extraction (pulldown).. like DVFilmmaker. or AE. then you can take the 24p file and put it into the 24fps timeline with a setting of no-fields/progressive for the project and your good to go.

24p is 24 progressive frames a second.. 24fps is just 24 frames per second..
..there is no designation as to whether the frames are progressive or interlaced in nature by just saying 24fps.

thanks for clearing that up for me.. i think i inderstand....lol I guess i'll have to do some experimenting once i get my dvx 100
