Did you know?

I haven't tried the 24p mode but I accidentally put a jvc tape in my sony and to my supprise it played. the sony even displayed 720P on the view finder. Tried to capture the JVC tape in cineform connect HD program but it didn't work.
 
I am not sure if this is new with the recent JVC upgrade. I swear I tried this before and it didn't work.

BTW> has anyone else noticed that the zoom rocker is gone from the handle with the HD100 recall?
 
Sony FX1/Z1 products can display JVC 30P tapes, but they cannot transport the footage over firewire. So you can view your 30P footage on the FX1's LCD, but you can't use it to digitize JVC footage.
