Did I Install the Hack Correctly?

I'm looking at the Version Display on my GH1 and it reads:

Body Firmware: Ver 1.3

Lens Firmware: Ver 1.1

Does this mean that I did not install the hack?

looks like you didnt check prevent version compare? something that you must do. this will then show firmware as 0.0. If the camera updated then yes you installed the hack but but it will be harder to do quick updates in the future because you forgot to check that box.

I followed the visual start guide here line by line..., checked off the boxes next to "version increment" and "prevent version compare".... I have a file that I saved from Ptool: GH1_133... Just not sure what to do with it.. Did it automatically load in the GH1 or do I need to do that next?

stick it in the root folder of your sd card, turn on and press the play button. if valid it will ask you to update. does this mean you havent updated yet? because your post suggests that you already have.

Hmm... I plugged the GH1 into the PC directly (I don't have a card reader). If memory serves me correctly, I don't believe I was prompted to update at any time. I followed this:

and stopped once I reached the section to "save file name"....

I'm assuming that I did not actually install the hack?
