Did I get a defective gh2/voigtlander?

The lens spins in the mount, about a mm and only with a good bit of pressure (more than the focus takes).

Is this normal? And if not, which is to blame, and should I utilize those warrantees?
 
Hard to say without seeing it. When I put it on mine it did seem a bit wonky but it could just be the mount and the newness of the lens. Does it mount well, and or do you get that error about it not seating right? I did for the first time I used it and then nothing after that....

hmm. i do occasionally get the camera telling me there's no lens, but i figured that was because the voigtlander doesnt communicate. picture is fine though.
 
with the gh1 the mount has a slight play, sometimes out of the box sometimes after a while. With mine it came after a while with alot of lens changing. it may be the same issue with the gh2, same mount design/part. when you use the word "spin" it suggests there is a big amount of play =)
