Just got my HVX back from the shop due to the audio jack not working. So I did some filming over the weekend and tried to download the footage onto my laptop and it won't download. the last time I used the camera was back in Sept.
I'm thinking that I must be doing something wrong!
1. I hook the firewire to the laptop (PC) and the HVX
2. I turn on the HVX
3. I press the small button on the back of the HVX to switch it from filming to showing you the P2 thumbnails.
4. I press the small button again holding it for a few seconds. 1394 DEVICE (flashes) and then it says 1394 DEVICE DISCONNECT
Nothing comes up on the laptop. SO what am I doing wrong?
