Hey guys,
Just need a little help here. I was filming a short w/ my DVX 100B a few days ago. It was set on a tripod, and I was filming in my parents' front yard when I let go of the camera and it fell forward into the grass/ground. Upon checking the camera, everything seemed to be fine, but the focus doesn't seem to respond now. Either manually or auto. It seems to be stuck in a slightly unfocused setting, making everything appear blurry.
Am I missing a possible solution? Or do I need to just get it fixed? And should I send it to Panasonic or find a reputable and approved place to get it fixed somewhere in the Bay Area (where I live)? And does anyone have any idea how much a fix like this might cost? Or how long it might take?
Sorry about all the questions, but I'm a bit nervous as I have projects coming up and hope to solve this problem soon. Any advice would be a great help. Thanks.
