Did a comparrison yesterday :)

Okay so you can compare SD to HD, but I thought I would show you. HERE IS WHY I LIKE THE P2 CARDs :) I can re-record over the clips, also cant delete the clips(*except format) I shot some RealEstate with my Xl1s w/Broadcast 16x servo lens, and It was in the basement, no light to horrible lighting. I was checking footage on deck and somehow dont know did not get q'ed back to the last shot and recorded over the footage. SO by that time I just ordered the HVX and thought I would hold out for a week to re shoot, here is a comparrison, with the outside brightness and no clouds kind of day, and interior lighting. I have heard people say shoot more EXT than INT. but I like the way INT looks. I did not change any settings. Camera is as default. Rec. mode was 720p/24p.

Are you saying you can't delete clips off the cards? Because you can, in-camera, it just takes three steps to do it... you have to "select" the clip first using the "pause/set" button, then you can go to "operation->delete->yes" and it'll delete the clip.
 
I totally did not subscribe to this thread I started, and forgot about it :) Ya thanks Barry, long over due thank you. I usually just reformat. I figure I will never get up to 100,000. and by the time I do bigger cards will be out :)

I was looking for someone who did a comparrison with 1080 and 720 with I think a rose, and I typed in search comparrison. and BAM!! an old thread of mine, the day after I got my HVX:)
