Hello guys

My name is Dennis and i’m an amateur filmmaker and i have just finished my first short film.
It is made with no budget and with the help of many good friends. I worked 1 year on it on my spare time.

Synopsis
Michael is a salesman willing to use any tactic to close the deal. When the rush of seducing customers begins to fade and sales falter, he must consider his past and remember what is important in life.

Please let me know what you think.

Thank you,

I really enjoyed this film. I am blown away by the writing and the shots as this was your first short film. The story was solid, engaging, and moved along nicely.

My only complaint was that i saw the direction going in a different way after teh punch, i thought he was giong to take a dark downward spiral, but you went the other direction. Not really a real gripe, maybe just my jaded disposition talking. I think you could do a little editing in a few places, i thought the conversation with the son was about 15-20 seconds to long.

Really great job. What was this shot on? What type of crew did you have? Where did you source your actors from?

After some more thought, I like this film so much I've decided to feature it on my blog as the Short Film of the Week. You join the ranks of some very talented film makers. From indie wonders to the man Martin Scorcese himself! Feel free to leave any comments about your experiences making the film etc...

Thank you vety much!

Thank you vety much!

Wow that's the best response that i got so far to my short film. I'm so happy you liked it and thank you very much for putting it on your blog.

The whole short was shot on a pentax kx dslr camera with a 1.7 50mm lens. The only crew that i had for this short were my friend which also helped in the acting department. That's why i was happy that the acting turned out better than i expected.

I do have a poster on the films web-site and would be happy if you add it:
