I love the DVXusergroup crowd and have hired off this website before with great results so I thought I'd throw this out to anyone who is interested. I have a completed feature film (104 min) that was shot with the DVX. Picture is locked, the score is completed, and sound design will be finalized this week. I have an incredible mixer at Todd A/O here in Los Angeles who will be mixing the film. The single element that is not completed is the dialogue editing. I had someone who completed the first 15 minutes but has pooped out so I'm looking for someone who can get on this immediately. There is pay involved (negotiable based on experience, time frame of completion, etc...), but ultimately here is what I'm looking for: This film from pre to post production has involved tons of young new talent that is looking to showcase their abilities on a film that will likely have a very very bright future. Rough cuts of the film have already been sent in to multiple film festivals and there are a bevy of distributers that are waiting to screen the completed film. The mixer is standing by waiting for the final element before he completes the film. I know that for a lot of you working on independent films can be a drag because they never pay as much and you always run the risk that the film will never be completed and/or seen, as is usually the case. However, rest assured this film is completed on every level except for yours so come on board, lay the last brick, and be part of a great film collaboration that will showcase the talents of many people who are looking to break in exactly the same way you are. This is a great opportunity to get your name on a great film and use it as an example of what you are capable of.
