Dialing in Cine2 with the FS700

I like the idea of 320 ISO with Cine Gamma 2. Here are ungraded and graded frame grabs from a recent high dynamic range stand-up shoot with talent under 4'x4' silk with no additional fill. Pleased that the sky held while still giving good skin tones and shadow detail.

Don't have a scope so don't ask me tech questions. Followed Olof and a few others and came up with this setup.

How about adding a secondary correction?

I selected a mask around the talent and then did a gamma adjustment outside the mask with a pretty big feather.



You could do a lot more if you wanted to but you get the idea. Secondarys are very powerful and the 700 codec holds up pretty well.
