I have emailed Jag35.com and asked about their return policy. I haven't heard from them yet so I figured I would throw this up and see if I can skip the step of waiting on them.
I have a like new follow focus by Dfocus (or design by dave). The only reason I am not calling it brand new is because I took the focusing wheel out and put it on my stock 7d lens and shot around the house for about an hour. It has never left the house and after I shot for a few hours I put it all back in the box that Jag35.com sent it to me in.
I had full intentions of using this on my thesis film because our facilities manager told me that the school's follow focus would not work on my 7d. I brought it home and found out it absolutely will and I have no idea why he told me it wouldn't. Anyway, it is a redrock unit and therefore a higher quality product so I will be using it instead of the Dfocus on my thesis film.
I have the paypal receipt to show that I paid $175 for the Dfocus. Obviously I don't want to take much of a loss on it at all but I figure even the JAG guys will make me pay to ship it back to them... so lets just say $165 shipped on it anywhere in the lower 48.
