There was the SAME BIG QUESTION on the lips of EVERYONE I crossed path with at the show:

"When is it going to be done? Is it going to be in theater? how can I see it / buy it?"

Boy, talk about pressure....

I just processed some behind the scenes photos from the shoot I just shared screengrabs from a page ago: Thought I would share some with you today...

You'll notice I used a table top dolly for two dolly shots... Not the best way to go but I was able to get a 20 feet long travel, right at ground level that way... Which I needed for this one shot... While my Indie dolly only has 12 feet tracks (and you lose a few feet due to platform and tripod set up...)

So ,whatever works ....

Yes, today I secured an awesome location for my last scene. I had one lined up but the owner backed out of his promise to let me use it (GRRRRR) so I had to find another ranch. It took two weeks, but I did it!! Gorgeous home, private uphill driveway, landscaping, flowers, peaceful... Everything I needed to tell my story :thumbup:... I am happy!

I am still missing one actress, it's been hell trying to find a mature actress that can pass as BETIIE, (the girl in my teaser) at 70 year of age. As long as I don't have this actress I am stuck. if anyone knows an attractive, well preserved actress between 60 and 70 year old, in the so cal area, send her my way. Must be slim and have at least "some" resemblance to the young actress who plays Bettie in the flashbacks.

Alternatively, can you guys give me leads for casting websites / listings? Who do you use to find actors (I am located in Los Angeles)? I need to audition more people NOW !!!!

Of course there are the BIG 3, LACASTING.com, ACTORSACCESS.com, & NOWCASTING.com, but there's also MANDY.com, craigslist.org, and IMDB.com. I'm sure there's more than that, but it's all I can think of now.

Lacasting has been my life saver for the past year , Nowcasting is OK too but a lot less active... Yielded only a couple older actors. I have never tried actor'saccess so I guess I will give it a shot today ) Thank you!

Mandy.com is great for crew, not sure about actors... have you guys had good luck with it?

Craigs list scares me LOL. I never use it. And everytime I tried to place a listing it would get deleted instantly. Not sure why... So to hell with them LOL.

Actor's access and breakdown express are awesome. I always get the most hits there. I've gotten a ton of responses for each project I've cast. They just keep coming and coming and sometimes don't stop, which is awesome!

Yes actors access (breakdown services/express) is the biggest and best, especially on the casting side (the huge talent pool makes it tougher for many on the actor's side). Try it - you'll like it!

Thanks for the tips, I placed a breakdown on actorsaccess.com yesterday. their staff was quick to process it and add a photo to the post, so far so good.

I will check today see if I cought any fish

Meanwhile, had a very exciting moment yesterday when I received the final version of the CGI crash shot for my dragrace scene.

Wow... Wow wow wow and woooooow...

I think I was floating above the ground for about an hour or so....

YES. This is going to ROCK !

I've been enjoying your updates for some time and it has been fun reading about your exploits.

Have you been watching Mad Men? Hamm's character is having a lot of personal problems going into season three and he's been chumming around with the California hot-rod crowd circa 1962.

Anyway, good luck with the picture, it looks like it's going to be awesome.

I got about 25 submission in one day which is huge for actors that age range (60 to 75)... Found about 6 to 8 I wouldn't mind auditioning . I'll keep you guys posted...

Ooops, no, I no have TV ... I am assuming Mad Men is a TV show? I am out of the loop. Eradicated TV from my home about a year ago so i would focus on my film 100%. In the past year I have watched TV ZERO minutes and ZERO second. :thumbup:... Never liked what was on anyway... I'm a movie girl. Plus you get SO MUCH more accomplished when you quit watching TV.
