I'm in the middle of shooting a feature film right now in Detroit and our camera just got stolen today. We've been shooting on a hacked GH1 with C-Mount Kern Switar lenses, so the look is fairly strong and not something that can really be replicated with another camera/lens combo. I've got the lenses still, but I need to find a camera I can rent for the weekend because we have a large party scene with a whole bunch of extras tomorrow (Friday) evening. I haven't been able to locate a rental house that has a GH1, at least as far as I can tell from the website.
Basically I'm putting out an open call - does anyone in the area have a GH1 that I can rent??? I'm willing to drive as far as I can in one day. Anyone know anyone? Have any ideas?
Thanks,
