detailed FCE capture settings

I've searched and searched google and youtube (i love their video tuturials... most of the time), and as usual, i gotta come here to find out what i need to know. i'm having trouble uploading my 24pAdvanced footage to final cut express. i'm going through all the easy setup and user preferences and whatnot, trying to find a progressive scan (instead of interlace) setting, it's killing me boys and girls, is it even possible to capture progressive scan with the express version of FC? thanks again...

Hi there's no feature for final cut express to capture a 24PA footage. it's only available in FCP as far as I know. hope this helps. cheers!

darn... haha oh well for now it's only for the web and it looks fine anyways... i tried to install final cut pro hd (one of the versions, not sure) on a macbook pro and it said it wasn't compatible with my graphics card so i just looked up what final cut was, and all i found was this shitty express version. i figured that i didn't need all the bells and whistles, but i guess now i was wrong
