Detail Setting with Squeeze?

Dear Forum Members,
I'll be shooting a short this weekend on a DVX-100A. I'd like a 16:9 finish. After nearly going blind reading all the Squeeze vs. 4:3 debates, I've decided to go Squeeze. So, my question:
Realizing that Squeeze does result in some resolution loss, should I go easy on reducing the detail setting?
It seems as though a moderately low detail setting (e.g., -3) is preferable for the film look, but might that aggravate the Squeeze resolution issue?
Thanks for all you insights....

I have found that SQUEEZE looks better with lower detail. I think the sharpening actually highlights that slightly lower resolution. The "DV Rebel" way would be to turn off sharpening altogether and sharpen after you finalize your edit.

Ah, and especially on the A model you will want to have lower Detail, higher Coring, since it is the noisiest of the line. And set THICK/THIN to THIN.
