FS7: Detail and Crispening in CiNE EI vs CUSTOM mode.

Does anyone know what the detail and crispening levels the camera defaults to are in CINE EI mode? My understanding is that those settings can't be changed in CINE EI mode. Has anyone made a comparison between CINE EI vs CUTOM mode's crispening and detail? What is the equivalent value in CUSTOM mode? I know that in CINE EI mode it is grayed out as "OFF" but is any in-camera sharpening really off?

Also, those of you who shoot in RAW, can you see a significant difference between RAW output's detail / crispening vs XAVC-I in CINE EI mode? My guess is that RAW is softer but is it significant?

In Off or when grayed out, I've never seen anything that resembles any artificial detail/sharpening and crispening, in EI or Custom. I actually never use it and have it set to off when in Custom and shooting Hypergammas. For my personal taste and so far that of my clients, the "natural" sharpness of the HD output in the F5 is plenty. I have no experience with what the RAW looks like.

Crispening is more of a low key noise reduction, somewhat analogous to coring. The thing to remember about the crispening, is the higher the setting the more the softening of fine details. You want to be judicious about over applying crispening because it can soften the image.
